Let's talk a little about Laura Geller Makeup. Everyone knows I too love makeup and although I am very new to using Laura Geller's makeup, I can tell you I LOVE what I have tried so far. My sister-in-law Linda swears by Laura's makeup!

Laura Geller Balance and Brighten

Trying this item was a little tricky for me. My sister-in-law swears by it; she has been using her compact over a year and there is still plenty in it. She told me it last for a long time, it feels great on your face and she just knew I would love it.

I ordered it, I love it and it works great for my skin. But I also ordered mine from QVC because you get the brush with it. Financially speaking, it makes more sense to spend $4 more for a brush designed to work with the makeup.

Laura Geller Spackle Under makeup Primer

I am not the type of person who wears several pounds makeup. Keep it simple is my rule of thumb. HOWEVER, I did purchase a 1 oz. sample size of this product and I love it!

A tiny bit goes a long way! You place it over your moisturizer & it helps to lock in the moisture and under your foundation for a velvet texture. I am sold on it but would not have known if they did not sell samples. With as little as you use, the sample should last a while!

Why a face primer though?

When you wear a face primer it helps in a lot of different ways. Like I mentioned before when you put your moisturizer on and than a primer it gives your moisturizer a chance to work better. The key affect is having your pores appear smaller which means your skin texture will be more like velvet and smooth.

In 1993, Laura opened Laura Geller Makeup Studios on New York City's posh Upper East Side. The Studio's purpose was simple: to teach women the how-to of cosmetics and hands-on technique to master it.

A review from one of Squidoo's Finest!!

nightbear made this comment from Squidooer at Posterous

One of the reasons why I love writing at Squidoo is because it allows me a place to give my opinions about things. When I write I love feedback and especially when someone finds my articles interesting enough to give something new a try. This is a great review from lensmaster nightbear She wrote the comment on Squidooer-Posterous. Thanks nightbear!!!

Okay it went better than I thought it would I have to say. The Spackle is very much like the face primer by BE, I really liked it and it was quite effective. I did not love the real deal concealer. It brags that it covers even a tattoo. I have an age spot on my cheek that it did not cover. Also it kind of looked blotchy. so not a new love. The brighten and balance was very interesting. I couldn't even tell anything was getting on the brush, but I could tell it was doing it's job on my skin. I liked it.I loved the eye shadow and liner. So pretty and it went on like a dream. The lip gloss. was fine, not spectacular, but fine. All in all a positive experience. I do not think I'll leave BE but I think I will add a few of these products as a supplement to my current beauty regime. Thank you Eva for getting me to move out of my comfort zone. I had fun.

The Laura Geller brand is the second best selling color cosmetic line in QVC US and has just celebrated its ten-year anniversary. Laura now stars in her own QVC one- and two- hour shows more than 30 times a year.
